Liz and Josh spent the early part of their wedding day wandering through downtown Denver taking photos while our team got everything set for their celebration. They stopped in to add a few final touches to the décor, then headed down to the 9th floor to relax with their wedding party before things officially kicked off.
As guests arrived, they grabbed a drink, found their seats, and settled in. Meanwhile, the wedding party came up the elevator from the 9th floor and tucked themselves into the corner, trying not to laugh or peek out while they waited for the cue.
The Rooftop team (Emily and Sammy) started sending each pair down the aisle, bridesmaids and groomsmen together. Right before Liz walked, the DJ played a surprise recording from her to Josh, sharing how excited she was to marry him. He immediately got emotional, and it was one of those moments everyone in the room felt.
After the ceremony, the reception fell right into place — dinner, speeches, and that warm, easy energy you hope for at a wedding. Then it started raining, and the entire dance party shifted indoors. Instead of slowing things down, it turned the whole night into something even better. The packed-in, high-energy dance floor created a little club vibe that everyone leaned into.
Once the celebration wrapped on the rooftop, the couple and their wedding party walked over to Appaloosa’s next door for a nightcap. They came back on Monday to pick up their things, which kept the whole night stress-free and exactly how they wanted it.
